In one of the stages of the cycling lap the winner arrived at the scheduled time after taking an average of 30Km / h. The last cyclist with an average of 25Km / h arrived an hour later.

What was the length of the stage?

Solution

The length was 150Km. For every 30 km, the winner of the stage took 1 hour while the loser needed 1.20 hours. Therefore the difference between both corridors is 0.2 hours every 30 kilometers or what is the same 1 hour every 150 km.
